From boredom to a project: five AI starts

Summer has empty hours. Instead of endless scrolling, here are five ways to begin something of your own with AI in ten minutes.

Being bored is not the problem, it is the starting point. The difference is what comes next: keep staring at screens, or use those hours to create something of your own. AI lowers the barrier to start; the credit is still yours.

Five starts for today

  • A mini game: ask the AI for the idea and rules of a card game using things at home, then play it this afternoon.
  • A song: write the lyrics about your summer with the AI, then give it a melody yourself.
  • A short story: open with three sentences of your own and ask the AI for questions, not the ending.
  • A one-screen app: describe a silly yet useful tool and ask for the steps to build it.
  • A logo: design the brand of your made-up channel or club and make three different versions.

FAQ

Is it cheating if the AI helps?

No, if you lead. The AI gives a starting point; the decisions, the taste and the effort to finish are yours. That is exactly what you learn.

Do I need to pay for tools?

Not to start. ChatGPT, Grok or Gemini have a free version that is enough for these five starts.
