Redesign your room with AI: three layouts before the new school year

Years in the same room, furniture in the same spots, and September is around the corner. Before school starts there is a perfect window to rethink it all: where you sleep, where you study, where you switch off. It does not take a budget, it takes a plan.

Your starting material: the room's measurements (length, width, where the door and window are), the list of furniture that stays no matter what, and what you would be willing to move, give away or transform. With that, the AI can propose three different layouts with clear zones: sleep, study, chill. Your job is to choose and adapt.

I want to redesign my room before the new school year, and you are my interior designer. Do not propose anything yet: first ask me questions, one at a time, about the room's measurements, where the door, window and sockets are, which furniture stays, how much budget I have (zero is allowed) and what style I like. Once you have everything, propose three different layouts with three zones: sleeping, studying and chilling. For each one, explain what moves, what goes and what can be solved with simple DIY. Always start with the version that costs nothing.

• Measure for real, with a tape: eyeballed layouts end in beds that do not fit.
• Before moving anything, purge: one box to donate, one to bin. A room with less stuff already looks like a different room.
• Ask the AI for DIY ideas with what is there: crates as shelves, a board across two drawer units as a desk, a string of lights for the chill corner.

Once you have picked a layout, hand it to an image AI: describe the room, the furniture, the colours and the new layout, and ask for a realistic picture. It will not be your exact room, it will be something better: a visual reference to settle colours and details before you break a sweat moving the bed.
