Invent your own superhero: with a power, a weakness and a Tuesday problem
Your child does not need another hero from TV: they can invent their own. The AI asks, the child decides every turn of the story.
Every child carries a superhero inside. Instead of watching another episode of the usual one, this afternoon a new one can be born: their own. With their power, their rival and, very importantly, their weakness and their everyday problem.
The weakness is the secret ingredient. A hero who can do everything gets boring in two minutes. One who flies but gets dizzy, or reads minds but only in silence, has stories for the whole summer. And the everyday problem, the homework, the broccoli, the little sister, makes the hero look suspiciously like someone in your house.
Copy this and adjust it
My child wants to invent their own superhero. Ask them questions one at a time to build the character: what power they have, what weakness (this part is important), who their rival is and what everyday problem complicates their life. When the character is complete, narrate their first adventure in short chunks and stop at every decision so the child chooses how it continues. Do not decide for them and do not end the story without asking.- With siblings: each one invents their hero and then they team up in the same adventure.
- Ask for a rival who is not evil, just someone who wants the opposite: it makes for great conversations.
- Take the everyday problem from the child's real life: the story becomes fully theirs.
Once the first adventure is told, the hero needs a face. The child describes the costume, the colours and the pose, and can ask the AI for an image as a reference. Then paper and markers: the version drawn by the child is the official poster.

What if my child copies a hero that already exists?
That is a completely normal starting point. Ask them what their version would do differently: with two or three changes, the character truly becomes theirs.
What ages does this work for?
From 4 to 10 it works wonderfully with an adult reading and typing. Older kids usually want to write it themselves and turn it into a comic or a saga.
